flat norah

we received a fun little package from our friends at apollo academy in lafayette, colorado--a "flat norah" doll (based on the book flat stanley by jeff brown). we were asked to record her day with us here at mississippi academy.

: we started the day with story time :

: then, since it was mail day we opened the mail in our mailboxes :

: we wrote return letters to the friends who had written to us :

: we had a snack :

: learned to needle felt :

: and ate lunch :

somehow from these pictures it seems like it is all tea & snacks, stories & crafts from this little "day in the life" story. we do have fun (it is kindergarten, after all!), but there is normally plenty of practice in The Three R's around here, too!
